The Phantom of the Penthouse
Tonight, Andrew Lloyd Webber's daughter, Imogene, is coming to the club to promote her book, "The Single Girl's Survival Guide". Meanwhile, (not that I don't love her, but business is business), Tartar is the one 'handling' it. Ummm...why is that? M is always getting on my case about being in charge, taking responsibility... well, when Faye came to him with this idea I should have been included in it on the spot.
Normally I don't stay/hang around for these things, but M asked me to tonight. And, it's only from 6pm to 8pm, so it was no big deal on my part. Believe me, if it had been any later I would not have stayed/bothered. The point is, is exactly that: what is the point of my job and me being here? Why wasn't I fully included? Why was I shut out? And more importantly, why was Tartar the direct person involved? Why was she the contact.
Something smells in here.
Whatever, I'll get over it as I always do.
*** More scoop: the entertainers are now being charged 13% to turn in their currency. I bet by next year it will go to 15%, and eventually 20%. No doubt. FUCKERS.
So, I just asked M if we, the marketing group, now will get 33% on our commission (we get 20% from the surcharge plus 10% to the entertainers = 30%, but now they upped the charge to 13%). Of course he said NO. SHOCKER!!! Why? Because he said so. M is so repulsive and I freakin have so much hate for this place sometimes.
ahhh...the future is near....
