Updates and illnesses

Here's a conversation from September 22nd-
I am just letting you know, that Michelle went to the doctor this morning- I asked her how that went. She said the doctor said she has bronchitis, and that she should stay home. I said, “well, are you contagious?” She said yes…
In which I said something along the lines of:
Well, you know you should stay home when you are sick, and contagious. And she actually had the balls to start arguing with me- saying, “WELL, I have to pay my bills, I have rent to pay. I mean, I took medicine….”
And I said, “yes, I understand- but there are OTHER people in the office, and it’s not fair that you come in here and can get everyone else sick.”
And she STILL was trying to argue it with me, saying that “I really didn’t WANT to take 2 trains in to get here, but I have to pay bills”
In which I said, “I totally understand, but how is it fair that you come into the office and get everyone else sick? Arch has 2 kids- so he should get sick and go home and get his family sick as well?”
I said, going forward, when you are sick, you need to stay home.

UGH….

Meanwhile she is hacking and coughing, with a CONTAGIOUS illness.

Maybe you should call and check in with her? I’ve had it. The last thing I need is to get sick, right before holidays and major parties going on.
Meanwhile I am going to have to move Jennifer when she comes in, because they sit back to back, 1 foot from one another.

So I sent that to Mark, and not 5 minutes later Greg came in and asked her to go home- and she totally put up a fuss, saying "but Greg....but GREG!!...." and even went into his office to talk to him about it.
But Mark made Greg send her home.
